ImageTek is a supplier of both thermal transfer printable and photo etched aluminum. We offer custom preprinted and blank aluminum labels in both pressure sensitive and riveted solutions. Our aluminum labels have a variety of adhesives specific to your project demands. They’re built to survive extreme temperatures up to 1100F, harsh environments, abrasion and are weather resistant.
Our thermal transfer printable aluminum labels are designed for on demand barcode or alphanumeric identification of items exposed to extreme heat. It is the ideal label to withstand the high temperatures (1,100°F / 600°C) associated with annealing & rolling of coils, billets, & other metal fabricating processes.
Our Aluminum pressure sensitive labels are conformable and outlast traditional labels.
A long lasting label solution, these labels can withstand years of UV exposure and harsh weather conditions. General applications are environmental warning signs, machinery and equipment identification, instructional signage, high temperature applications as well as durable goods marking, where the label needs to last the lifetime of the product.

Thermal Transfer Printable Aluminum
Description – High temperature Aluminum label material with a permanent pressure sensitive, ultra high temperature silicone adhesive and a high opacity, white topcoat specifically designed for thermal transfer printing on aluminum labels.
Use – This material is designed for high performance Industrial printers to barcode or alphanumeric identification of hot metal items. It is the ideal label to withstand the high temperature operations (up to 1112 deg F or 600 deg C) encountered in annealing, rolling, and other high temperature operations encountered in metal manufacturing. The printed aluminum label resists smearing when used with an industrial thermal transfer printer and a high temperature ribbon. Lab Rated as follows: 600C for 1 hour, 450C for 2 hours, 350C for 16 hours.
Photo Etched Anodized Aluminum Labels
Our photo etched aluminum labels are meant to solve hard to handle applications where pressure sensitive or riveted solutions are needed to survive severe abrasion and harsh environments.
Once applied these labels will last 20 years in outdoor exposure. Used primarily for asset or track and trace manufacturing where chemicals, abrasion and moisture are prevalent, these labels are ideal for parts & steel manufacturing as well as a variety of industrial applications.
Photo etched aluminum labels embed the images into the aluminum creating a sturdy, solid label. When paired with high performance adhesive the label survives long life cycles and ensures readability for years to come.
Customized Aluminum Labels & Tags
Description – Aluminum Barcode or Asset Labels for Industrial Use. This label is built with a durable sub-surface photographic barcode image imbedded in a sturdy, solid anodized aluminum label. This combination provides long life and excellent readability in the harshest environments. Readability in the harshest environments.
Use – Labels resist heat, cold, chemicals, impact and abrasion. This label has a 20 year outdoor exposure.
