Automotive

ImageTek specializes durable, long-lasting labels that meet automotive standards set forth by AIAG and GM-1724. With specialty materials for control tracking, battery labels, and any under-the-hood application imaginable, we have solutions that automotive OEM’s demand.

Most other labels on the market are not meant to withstand the harsh environments and chemical exposure found in automobile parts manufacturing. That’s why ImageTek carries a full line of labels that survive high temperatures, moisture, vibration, oil and brake fluid as well as corrosive materials that can compromise the label and jeopardize your process.

Whether your application is control, track-and-trace, warning, warranty/recall or service, or windshield decals, we have a label that will meet the standards and survive the elements.

Our LMP6100 and 6101 are silver polyester materials commonly used by our automotive manufacturing customers. These materials deliver long-lasting, abrasion-resistant labels with the adhesive to last the life of your product. The silver foil offers a finish sought by industry engineers to maintain integrity and branding on their finished products.

Void labels such as LMP6201 and LMV5200 provide a great look while assuring the label can’t be removed, and shows visible evidence of tampering, by leaving a VOID residue or chipping, leaving tamper indicators behind.

A variety of chemical-resistant labels are available, which not only resist gasoline, oil and brake fluid, moisture and harsh cleaners, but also survive high temperatures and stressors that cause breakdown in most common labels over time.
